DC SCORES has launched as a new CityTutor Hub for the 2022-2023 school year, serving students in Ward 4, 5 and 6.
Katrina Owens, Executive Director, shares that this partnership with CityTutor DC will allow DC SCORES to provide high-impact tutoring in literacy to 50 students in eight public and public charter elementary schools with the greatest need during the 2022-2023 school year.
“DC SCORES is well suited to provide high-impact tutoring through the CityTutor DC program. We are deeply ingrained in the communities surrounding many Title 1 schools in the District with a demonstrated need for academic supports”.
