DC Tutoring and Mentoring Initiative

DC Tutoring and Mentoring Initiative (DC TMI) matches volunteer tutors and mentors with their nonprofit partners based on volunteers’ schedules, locations, and preferences. DC TMI is coordinating recruitment efforts for many of these organizations; fill out their sign-up form to get connected!

Reading Partners

Reading Partners focuses on supporting students who are several months to two and a half years behind grade level in reading. They harness the power of community volunteers to provide individualized literacy instruction (in–person and online) with measurable results to help students master the reading fundamentals they need to reach grade level. Northstar Tutoring

Northstar Tutoring is committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity for a better future. Their program provides free, one-on-one tutoring and mentoring for low-income students in grades K-12 in the Washington, DC area; fill out their sign-up form to get started!
