GOODProjects to Continue as CityTutor Hub

Tutor looks on as students complete worksheets at a table

GOODProjects launched one of the first CityTutor Hubs in 2021, tutoring students in the GOODZone in Ward 6, and will continue this school year. This CityTutor Hub will recruit and train reading and math tutors to support and serve students at their GOODLearning Hub.

Darius Baxter, Chief Engagement Officer at GOODProjects, said this partnership would support youth and their families in Southwest DC.

“Our team is excited to continue our partnership with CityTutorDC. They enable us to provide our youth with access to tutoring help on top of unique activities and opportunities they are not typically afforded growing up in the SW Public Housing Community,” Baxter said. “As a CityTutor Hub for the second year in a row we will continue supporting families while promoting unity and safety within our community.”
