Reading Assist

Reading Assist provides year-round high-dosage tutoring for students in grades K-3 in the lowest 25% for reading proficiency, with priority given to schools with higher populations of low income students, students of color, and multilingual learners. We recruit, train, and embed AmeriCorps members – known as Reading Assist Fellows –willing to commit a school year of service to provide our accredited reading intervention program to struggling readers. We provide additional support to students through summer and after-school programming.
