CityTutor DC (CTDC) has partnered with the Office of the State Superintendent for Education, DC Public Schools, and experienced local educators to develop math lessons to support the implementation of high-impact tutoring (HIT) across the District.
Designed for Tutoring, Aligned to DC Curriculum
These lessons are aligned to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and are created for the growing pool of tutors who are not trained teachers or have limited math content knowledge. To support this pool of tutors, CTDC developed these lesson scripts, corresponding slides (that can be used electronically or in print format), and student worksheets. These lessons are aligned to curricula commonly used in Washington, DC and made for students who use Eureka Math, Illustrative Math, iReady, and Zearn among other CCSS-aligned curricula in their schools.
Looking to implement high-impact tutoring at your school?
In partnership with the Office of the State Superintendent for Education (OSSE), CityTutor DC has developed a toolkit to help school leaders brainstorm and implement high-impact tutoring (HIT) in their schools.
Join CityTutor DC on Wednesday, November 20, for A Brighter Future: Learnings from Transforming Teaching, as we celebrate key findings and lessons learned during the pilot year of our Transforming Teaching Pilot (TTP) initiative.
