24-25 Rolling RFP Now Open

As part of our continued commitment to this work, CityTutor DC is accepting proposals on a rolling basis and looking for experienced individuals to support our strategic staffing work with DC public and public charter schools, specifically as strategic staffing consultants who will provide coaching support, targeted professional development, programmatic monitoring for HIT, and technical implementation support.

The CityTutor DC Curriculum Program is also looking for independent contractors to support the development of high-quality, standards-aligned curricular resources to improve the implementation and impact of HIT across DC.  These resources are targeted at the growing pool of tutors in DC who may not be trained educators but have committed to supporting the acceleration of students through HIT.  The goal is to create a bank of free and open resources aligned to Common Core State Standards (CCSS) that are digestible and usable for non-educators.  The current phase of this project will be focused on eighth grade math.

CTDC is accepting proposals from well-established HIT providers in Washington, DC, with plans to expand or continue HIT services at DC Public or DC Public Charter Schools with a focus on serving at-risk students. Service Providers will serve schools with 40% or more students who are economically disadvantaged OR at least 80% of students enrolled in a school’s CTDC-funded HIT programs must be identified as economically disadvantaged. CTDC has supported several types of organizations to strengthen the tutoring ecosystem in Washington, DC. Service Providers may be non-profit organizations or for-profit organizations with a strong commitment to educational and racial equity, demonstrated in part by serving students designated at-risk and other students who have experienced disrupted instruction during the COVID-19 pandemic.
